You're delivering to a gravel lot or a half-built structure, not a warehouse with a dock and a forklift standing by. The receiving window is whatever the superintendent says it is, and a truck that rolls in two hours late finds a crew waiting on someone's payroll.
A driver who has never worked a site burns the clock figuring out where to put the load. That is why Moffett delivery, a truck-mounted forklift that rides with the freight, is one of our deepest specialties. Your material comes off at the curb even when there is nothing on site to unload it. That one detail is the difference between a fifteen-minute drop and a driver circling the block.
Contractors, roofing suppliers and building-materials distributors all run on the same math. The delivery either lands when the crew can receive it, or it costs somebody a day.
